Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido; President and CEO: Koichiro Suzuki, hereafter “Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel”) has been honored with the “Comprehensive Award” at the 2021 SDGs Management Awards, hosted by the Sapporo Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The SDGs Management Awards, organized by the Sapporo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, recognize companies that are actively working toward the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This inaugural year, a total of 42 companies were selected across five categories, including the Comprehensive Award, following a review by a selection committee comprised of external experts.
Hokkaido Treasure Island Travel is committed to contributing to the revitalization of Hokkaido’s local regions through tourism development, positioning itself as a travel agency that is conscious of environmental responsibility and the sustainable future of local communities. Moving forward, the company will continue to actively work towards realizing sustainability in tourism centered on Hokkaido and contributing to the further development of the tourism industry.
